New web site housing UK Legislation

Last week the National Archives began hosting legislation on behalf of the government.
Legislation.gov.uk replaces the Statute Law Database and information on the Office of Public Sector Information site. The new web site contains the original versions of all Acts from 1988 onwards, and partial coverage from 1801-1988.

It is also possible to locate all legislation in force as at 2002 as well as all Acts passed since this date. The site contains some Acts as amended, with the ultimate aim being that the web site will contain current versions of all Acts in force.
