European Sources Online - useful for those studying EU Law

European Sources Online graphic

European Sources Online is based at Cardiff University and contains a range of useful information about the EU and its workings. It's free to access, and definitely worth a look if you're currently studying EU Law.

A recent email I received from the Executive Editor of ESO outlines the various strands of the service.
  • ESO contains a unique collection of Information Guides to EU Institutions, EU Policies and fifty European countries.
  • By searching the ESO database, users can access an expert selection of information on European topics from a very wide range of information sources. Primary and official sources of information plus commentary, analysis, summaries, news and academic literature from a wide range of European perspectives - in most cases offering immediate full text access, are covered.
  • Use ESO to keep up-to-date with developments in the European Union and the rest of Europe. It is updated daily with the latest information.
  • Sign up to receive a weekly email of new information added to ESO in topics of relevance to you (RSS feed also available).
